Julie is an artist, movement coach, author and the founder of See&Do – an initiative that encourages others to move more and age positively. She is an ambassador for Merrell footwear and supports outdoor activities and a philosophy of ‘we are all able’. She is an award winning independent filmmaker, completed the world’s first Parkour themed Ph.D at Brunel University in London and is a published author of ‘Breaking the Jump’ that tells the story behind the creation of Parkour and her own rediscovery and return to the joy of movement. She has been working in the creative industries for the past 20 years creating self-initiated projects as well as working commercially for clients such as the BBC, Canon, Konami, Yota, Nokia and working with various artists and athletes.
Julie’s documentaries are founded in an interest in visual anthropology and the politics of representation. Her films have amassed over 16 million views online on her YouTube channel slamcamspam.
